HIGHLIGHTS

We start our day around 9.15am and travel via the 'scenic route', through the undulating and bush laden north-eastern suburbs of Eltham, Kangaroo Ground and Christmas Hills.

Our first stop is at the De Bortoli Winery at Dixons Creek. As Italian as Domaine Chandon is French, it's a great start with superbly flavoured cheeses that compliment the sparkling, table and dessert wines.

We then travel to Yering Station for a pre-lunch wine-tasting in an historic 1859 building surrounded by local artworks and produce.

Lunch is a short walk away at stunning Yering Station with its world-class views and cuisine. Browse the menu.

After a relaxing lunch we head to the very famous and very French Domaine Chandon. Choose from a range of premium sparkling wines (methode champenoise) while nibbling on cheese and bread.

Our final stop for the day is at the Coldstream Hills Winery at Coldstream. Established by one of Australia's leading authors and commentators on wine, James Halliday the elevated position of the cellar door takes in delightful late afternoon views across the valley.

Our journey home takes us through Coldstream and historic Warrandyte. Expect to be back to your accommodation by around 6.30pm.

Deluxe transport, tastings at nominated wineries, bread & cheese platter at Domaine Chandon, main course a la carte lunch with glass of wine and coffee at Yering Station, cheese platter at De Bortoli's, bottled water, guide and GST.

Group Tours

For groups of all sizes, a similar day can be arranged. As a guide, the cost would be $110 per person, based on a minimum of 40 people and would apply from 1/4/11 to 31/3/12.

Tours are available on a daily basis with a minimum of 2 people. Private tours can be arranged, price on application.
